EFU General Insurance Limited is seeking a competent Finance / Compliance professional to join its Secretarial & Compliance Department at the Head Office, Karachi. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to strengthening corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and secretarial functions within a leading insurance company.
Key Job Role & Responsibilities:
• Maintain and safeguard corporate and secretarial records, including board/committee minutes and statutory registers
• Prepare and manage official correspondence, notices for Directors’ and members’ meetings, and other corporate documents
• Coordinate the dispatch of notices and documentation related to board matters and share transactions
• Monitor daily circulars, notices, SROs, and regulatory updates issued by SECP and Pakistan Stock Exchange
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory returns and documents under the Companies Act, 2017, and other applicable regulations
• Maintain organized secretarial files and support overall compliance and governance activities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: ACCA, ICMAP, part-qualified CA, BBA, and MBA from an HEC-recognized institution or relevant qualification
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance, secretarial, corporate compliance, or regulatory reporting functions
• Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of Companies Act, 2017, Code of Corporate Governance, other regulations, and corporate compliance requirements
Required Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good drafting and documentation abilities
• Familiarity with regulatory filings and compliance processes
